my name is Alan and my wife`s name is Pauline, we have been together for 40 years and married for 34 years,
we are a small family business and one of the oldest surviving wedding car companies that only ( concentrates on weddings) in the chesterfield area .
we did our first wedding approximately eleven years ago back in 1996 ,after finding our first limousine in need of renovation in a barn, since then we have purchased our other limousines one by one ,
so hear is how it works for us .
we have 5 main limousines . all matching in colour black over old English cream ,
four of them are the AUSTIN PRINCESS VANDEN PLASS .
it may help you recognise them by mentioning that the queen used to have this type of limousines years ago back in the 50 s and early 60 s , you may have seen old footage on the television of the queen on her travels, waving to the crowds in the rear of the limousine .
so lets start with the open top limo- (the landaulet ) the brides favourite limo-, it`s very roomy inside , and it has catered for the largest of gowns and also a very comfortable ride , a sliding glass panel separating the driver from your selves,
( this proves very private throughout your journey. )
it`s fitted with white leatherette seats and door trims, all its wood trims have been renovated , and also fitted with new black carpets through out.
on a good sunny day with the top down it is a spectacular car with the bride and her father leaving from home heading for church , with the sun shining down on them , and dad in the back with tears in his eyes holding his daughters hand , “saying are you sure ? we still have time to turn around and go back home”.
the other bridal car is one of the same type with a solid roof
( not a collapsible hood ) it`s the saloon model, and is 60 years old .
it is a 5 seater saloon ( with the driver ) so it can carry 4, passengers , Or just to concentrate on the bride, with her father to church and after the wedding ceremony just the bride and groom to the reception this would be your choice .
it has a cream leatherette head lining with matching cream leatherette seats and door trims all its wood trims have been renovated, and fitted with new light beige brown carpet carpets through out .
Our next two Austin princess limousines, are our two matching seven seaters they are a 6 seating passenger car with the original type of folding down occasional seats .
( they are classed as a 7,seater car with the driver ) they are fitted with the original type of head lining , with white leatherette seats and door trims, again all the wood trims have been renovated in both these cars.
one of the car`s has been fitted with new black carpets to match the bridal open top limousine .
and the other 7 seater limo- has a light beige brown carpet to match the saloon bridal car .
both these limousines can be used as either a bridal limousine by folding away ,the occasional seats, or can be used to pick up the groom / best man and the grooms family upto 6 passengers .then a second trip may be done to pick up the brides mum and b/maids, again this would be your choice on how it would prove best for your type of wedding.
the latest addition to our fleet is the Daimler DS,420 limousine again the colour is the same as the other limousines , black over cream , with a black interior , that enhances your wedding dress. There is plenty of room for your gowns in the back of all our cars .
if you give us the details of your wedding , we will try to advise you to get the best out of the cars that you hire from us .
You will be presented with a complimentary drink from us to you , to congratulate you both just after the confetti has been thrown ,and then with a drink top up sharing a toast to each other in the back of the car ,
on your journey to the reception .

NO bookings will be taken over the phone, this will only be done on a one to one basis. ( Preventing any mistakes)
prices for the hire of our limousines will be disused when we know how many cars you require and the full extent of your wedding car requirement .
on booking we do ask for a £ 50 per car deposit ( none refundable )
this will secure the car / cars that you have booked with us and hold your date in the diary .the car / cars that you book with us will not go out on another wedding on that day.
